Dunthorpe: Best known for its elegant properties and central location, Dunthorpe is a close-knit, residential community located 10 minutes south of downtown Portland, Oregon near Lewis & Clark College and the city of Lake Oswego. Tryon Creek State Park runs along the southern border of Dunthorpe and offers 645 forested acres of hiking trails, paved bicycle paths, and even horse trails. On a high bluff on the Willamette River to the east of Dunthorpe is the Elk Rock Gardens of the Bishop's Close, an estate with approximately six acres of cultivated English-style gardens designed by the New York firm of Olmsted and Son, who also designed Central Park in New York City.

Riverdale Schools: The renowned Riverdale School District is the heart of the Dunthorpe community. A small public school district established in 1888, Riverdale derives its success from its academic rigor and small class sizes. Its award-winning reputation continues to enhance the values of neighborhood homes. Families within and outside of the district develop long standing and close-knit relationships as their children excel at the K-8 grade school and continue on at the high school. As community members, our own children are proudly being educated through the Riverdale Schools.

Giving Back to the Community: As long-time residents, we enthusiastically believe in contributing to Dunthorpe’s exceptional school and community. Serving in the past as Parent Teacher Club Presidents and Treasurers, we continue as active volunteers and fundraisers. Currently, Kristen serves as Vice-Chair on Riverdale’s School Board. In addition to donating time each year, we as a company also contribute a portion of our revenues to support both the Riverdale Foundation and the Riverdale Parent-Teacher Club.
